The Brunsviga System Trinks is a mechanical pinwheel calculator manufactured by Grimme, Natalis & Co., a German company based in Braunschweig (Brunswick). This model, introduced in the early 20th century, is named after Franz Trinks, the company's technical director, who played a significant role in the development of Brunsviga calculators. The calculator features a black-lacquered metal casing with engraved numerals and brand name. It's mounted on a solid wooden base and comes with a protective and lockable plywood cover, which also serves as a carrying case. In 1927, the company's name was changed to Brunsviga Maschinenwerke Grimme, Natalis & Co AG, and later to Brunsviga Maschinenwerke AG.
