The Facit C1-13 is a mechanical calculator with a pinwheel mechanism. It was manufactured between 1957-1969 by Facit AB in Sweden and other Facit's factories across the globe. A characteristic feature of Facit machines was the input keyboard digits placement a.k.a. the Dalton keyboard. The C1-13 exterior was designed by Sigvard Bernadotte. The mechanism is based on an inverted Odhner's pinwheel-type calculator (moving setting register instead of the moving result/revolution carriage). The mechanism itself changed very little during the first Model T manufactured from 1932 onwards, followed by TK (from 1936), NTK (from 1954), and finally C1-13 (from 1956). Model C1-13 was manufactured in large numbers until 1969. This machine comes from Turku, Finland. It has a service label on the bottom from the service company Tuloskone Oy. It was last serviced on 7th of April 1971. References: ARITHMEUM Registers: 9 x 8 x 13 Weight: 6,4 kg Dimensions: 15 x 31 x 21 cm | ||||
