Feliks M (type VRN-3) is a pinwheel, handcrank-operated mechanical calculator, built in the 1970s by Schetmash factory in Kursk, USSR. Feliks M was the most common mechanical calculator in the Soviet Union until the early 1980, mostly, due its low price, compared to electronic alternatives. The Felix series calculators, with minor modifications in the exterior design, were produced until the late 70s, in large quantities, peaking close to 300.000 pcs yearly in 1968.
