Did you know ...? Aktiebolaget Original-Odhner was established in Göteborg, Sweden, when after the Russian revolution, Odhner's company in St. Petersburg was nationalised and Odhner family moved back to Sweden. In the new Göteborg plant the manufacturing and developing of Odhner's calculator was continued in 1919 with developing new model Arothmos (Mod 1). In 1931 the crank-operated Odhner A was introduced, whose several modifications were produced until the late 1960s. In 1942 Original-Odhner was absorbed by AB Åtvidabergs Industrier, a Swedish office equipment company which also owned the Facit calculator brand and later also the Addo brand.
